The Merseyside Branch of the BCS is administered by a local committee. The committee meets regularly in Liverpool to plan events, deal with administrative matters, examine issues raised by members and to ensure that the Branch’s affairs are conducted in accordance with the standards and aims of the BCS itself.
The committee is elected by members and is responsible to BCS Headquarters. The committee members represent a range of I.T. professions, from academia to commercial I.T. management. They seek to deliver events and services which are relevant and current to the many people and organisations working in I.T. in the Merseyside area.
